  • Legislative Activities - CAHSAH writes and sponsors bills and seeks budget increases to improve the home care environment.
  • Regulatory Activities - CAHSAH meets regularly with representatives from DHS, Medicare Fiscal Intermediaries, and other regulatory bodies to ensure that home care regulations and reimbursements are being properly implemented and monitored.
  • Grassroots Programs - CAHSAH members are called upon to communicate with their legislative representatives regarding the impact of legislation and regulation on their businesses. CAHSAH also sponsors a Political Action Committee (PAC) to support the legislators who value home care, and a Legislative Action Fund (LAF) to support grassroots legislative activities & materials.

  • Telephone Seminars - Dial in for 90-minute seminars on late breaking home care issues. You register for one low price, but can include as many staff members as you wish via speaker phone.
