CAHSAH and The Corridor Group have teamed up to offer two unique programs to prepare you in becoming a hospice or home care certified executive.

Continuing education programs developed especially for leaders in the home care industry are an essential professional development investment for both individuals and the organizations they represent. CAHSAH, a leader in advanced continuing education specifically for hospice administrators, is partnering with The Corridor Group Inc. to offer the Hospice Administrator Certificate Program (HACP) and the Advanced Hospice Administrator Certificate Program (AHACP).

Program Description:
Prepare beginning and intermediate level hospice administrator for clinical, financial and strategic challenges
Using a case study approach, experts deliver content in strategic, financial, or legal issues and the actual implementation analysis of a particular topic.
Who should attend:
Managers, beginning and intermediate level administrators.
Senior Administrators including CEO's, CFO's, and COOs.
Recommended Prerequisites:
One year administrative or managerial experience in hospice
Three years of hospice administration experience or completion of HACP
Content:
Leadership & Strategic Management
Understand leadership responsibilities to position hospice organizations for success. Identifies four keys to being a successful leader.
Focus on creating action plans for successful strategic positioning, including critical skills necessary for developing your "hedgehog" and negotiating with governing body.
Financial Management
Basic content to provide framework for understanding, interpreting & modifying essential elements. Identify tools necessary to manage financial performance such as key reports, appropriate budgeting, and monitoring financial operations.
Focus on key elements of financial management-not just what to do, but how to conduct a financial gap analysis, how to analyze the financial risk and benefits of a particular strategy, and most importantly, how to determine key indicators to a 'go-no go' decision.
Regulatory Compliance
Focus on compliance risk and understanding the elements of quality driven organizations. Instruction in key elements of corporate compliance to align strategic, financial and performance improvement goals.
Advanced legal discussion addressing length of stay issues, inpatient level of care, cap issues, corporate transactions and the role of your governing body and audit committee. Focus on improving compliance and avoiding fraud and abuse.
