On November 15, 2012 the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH) and Aging Services of California, will host the West Coast’s Premier Home Care and Aging Services Technology Conference – the third AgeTech Conference & Technology Exposition at the Hilton Hotel in Pasadena, CA.

Organized into the three main segments of “Innovate” “Invest” and “Implement” this one-day conference will address many of the organizational cultural barriers to innovating service models and adopting new technologies that often inhibit senior living and home care providers and will offer guidance for the sometimes-daunting investment decisions and implementation processes. As providers determine how best to thrive in the new value-driven environment, organizations offering evidence-based coordination expertise and innovative service models – strengthened with technology – have a better likelihood of developing partnerships and providing services to a larger customer base. This theme embraces one of AgeTech’s goals of enabling strategic change and facilitating successful business model development through education.

This year’s program ensures that the event will not just be “another technology conference,” but rather an important strategic growth venue for care providers’ executive leadership, key staff and board members as well as advisors, consultants, academics, technology organizations and innovators in the aging and home care space. We are also happy to announce that CEUs are offered for across a variety of license categories for staff in California, Oregon and Washington. We are expecting a full cache of technology solutions – with many new exhibitors – and have planned several opportunities throughout the day for you to research and evaluate what could be a good fit to enable the service improvements or new models you are currently exploring. TRANSPORTATION/AIRPORT
Fly in from Bob Hope Burbank Airport (BUR) - 15 miles away - or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) - just 30 miles from the hotel.  The Hilton hotel does not have a shuttle to/from the airport but there are other ground transportations available.  Super shuttle is typically $16 each way.  Taxi is approximately $35 each way.  A limousine is approximately $62 each way.
