Course Overview

The Home Care Executive Certificate Program (HCECP) provides you with specific and concrete examples to strategically position your organization for growth and success. Learn from best experts in strategic, financial and legal issues then move on to the actual implementation analysis of each topic.  This case study approach will enhance the basic information you have learned in your current role, or perhaps while attending the intermediate Home Care Administrator Certificate Program (HCACP).  Engage in point/counter-point discussions with expert speakers and your home care colleagues each day.

The HCECP is a three module curriculum:
 1. Advanced Home Care Strategic Positioning: Now You Know What To Do; How Do You Do It?
 2. Advanced Financial Management: Now You Have the Strategies; How Will You Finance Them?
 3. Advanced legal Considerations: Now You Know Strategies and Financing; What are the Related Legal Issues?

Program Learning Objectives
  • Identify and implement specific strategies to position your organization for growth and development.
  • Understand the legal implications of selected strategies and how to assure your legal counsel has the right experience to help you achieve your goals.
  • Identify key budget items and how to analyze the financial risks and benefits of specific home care strategies.
  • Implement strategies to change directions if strategic, legal and/or financial problems arise.
  • Educate board and staff on the importance of selected strategies, legal and financial considerations for the future positioning and success of your home care organization.
