RE: Call to Action: Support Budget Neutral Home Health Provider Giveback in S 3018/HR 4954

Dear Congress member Thomas:

Please don’t come home for the holidays without ensuring beneficiary access to home health care by eliminating the 15 percent cut in home health care funding and extending the 10 percent add-on for rural patients. Elimination of the 15 percent cut is budget neutral and has the overwhelming support of the House and the Senate. Act today to approve the home health provisions of S 3018 and HR 4954.

California home health agencies providing Medicare home health services to medically fragile seniors need you to take action on elimination of the 15 percent cut in Medicare home health and the other crucial provisions of S3018 and HR 4954. These two bills contain vitally important language for an entire group of providers giving services to allow seniors to stay in their homes and avoid costly institutions, like hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and other community care facilities.

Please take action on elimination of the 15 percent cut in Medicare home health and the other crucial provisions of S 3018 and HR 4954 upon your return to Congress. A whole nation of home health providers and recipients of services are closely watching and waiting for this issue to be resolved.

Sincerely,
