FACULTY
With two decades of legal experience, Angelo Spinola’s practice focuses on employment litigation with a special interest in the home health, home care and hospice industry. Bringing a wide breadth of knowledge across the health care spectrum, he works with an array of home-based care clients, including Fortune 500 organizations and franchisors, small-owned businesses and franchisees across multiple industries. Additionally, Angelo works closely with private equity firms and investment groups with respect to labor and employment issues that may arise during acquisitions and activities in these sectors.
Angelo partners with attorneys in Polsinelli’s Health Care, Corporate and Transactional and Franchise practices to build coalitions that bring a deep bench of experience and industry knowledge to his clients in the home health, home care and hospice industry.
Leveraging technology to better serve clients, Angelo utilizes innovative legal technology platforms designed specifically for franchise systems and home health, home care and hospice clients. The platform serves as a source for industry information and substantive legal resources where employers have direct access to the tools, documents and knowledge needed to reduce their legal spend as their business needs grow throughout the corporate lifecycle and franchise process. Angelo also utilizes client portals to share confidential, proprietary client documents to allow clients and Angelo to seamlessly manage matters or case-specific documents.

Lindsay is committed to providing reliable counsel to strategically solve client matters and address their litigation needs. Clients rely on Lindsay to develop solutions and effective arguments with respect to their complex legal challenges. Her practice focuses on advising employers on compliance with both state and federal requirements for disability accommodation, leaves of absence, wage and hour, harassment and discrimination complaints, workplace investigation, reductions in force, disciplinary actions and terminations. She represents clients in all forums, including state and federal courts, arbitration and administrative agencies. Furthermore, Lindsay partners with clients to provide ongoing management training seminars, draft employee policies handbooks and employment agreements.
Lindsay frequently presents webinars on employment law developments and is often cited in regional and national media outlets on topical employment issues, including those related to COVID-19 and the workplace.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are subject to 20% handling fee. There will be NO REFUNDS issued for cancellations received within 10 business days prior to program. Cancellations must be in writing. Refunds will not be made for no-shows. However, substitutions will be allowed. Should CAHSAH® cancel the program, a full registration fee refund will be issued.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #CEP17394) for one and one half (1.5) contact hours of continuing education. Continuing Education report will be issued to attendees once attendance has been confirmed.
