On-Demand ADR for Hospice
Duration: Full-Day Recording (5 hours)
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This on-demand workshop delivers a comprehensive, practical look at Medicare medical review and documentation requirements for hospice and home health providers.
The program opens with a recorded breakout session led by National Government Services (NGS), followed by expert instruction from Annette Lee, a nationally recognized medical review and appeals specialist with more than a decade of experience working within a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC).
Participants will gain a clear understanding of Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs), the full medical review lifecycle, and how audits are conducted by Medical Review, CERT, SMRCs, and RACs. The course walks through what reviewers are looking for, common documentation pitfalls, and how to strengthen records to support medical necessity.
Following the NGS session, Ms. Lee provides a focused overview of the appeals process, including real-world documentation examples that support medical necessity for both home health and hospice claims. The breakout sessions offer deeper, actionable insight into current audit activity and compliance expectations.
