Description
The final webinar integrates the regulatory requirements discussed throughout the series into the patient care process. Participants will review admission requirements, initial and comprehensive assessments, interdisciplinary plan of care development, quality management, compliance monitoring, and survey preparedness. The session concludes with practical strategies for building a sustainable compliance program that supports organizational excellence.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Describe regulatory requirements for hospice admissions and patient assessments.
- Explain the role of the interdisciplinary team in developing and reviewing plans of care.
- Identify essential components of an effective quality management and compliance program.
- Prepare for California Department of Public Health hospice inspections.
- Develop a strategic implementation plan to sustain compliance and operational excellence.
