Proposal Guidelines
The CAHSAH Annual Conference & Expo is California’s premier educational and networking event for home care, home health, hospice and the broader home-based care community. The conference brings together provider leaders, nationally recognized experts, government representatives, industry partners and peers to address the regulatory, clinical, workforce, operational and strategic issues shaping care at home.
CAHSAH is seeking timely, practical and forward-looking presentations that help attendees solve real problems, implement stronger practices and prepare their organizations for what comes next.
CONFERENCE AUDIENCE
Who attends:
Owners, CEOs, administrators, clinical and operational leaders, finance professionals, human resources leaders, quality and compliance professionals, clinicians, industry partners and emerging leaders.
Experience Level:
Most attendees are intermediate to advanced and expect depth, current information, practical application and actionable takeaways.
Role of the speaker:
Speakers serve as both subject matter experts and facilitators of learning. Sessions should encourage engagement and translate information into practical action.

SESSION FORMAT |
- All concurrent education sessions are 60 minutes total.
- Plan for approximately 50 minutes of substantive instruction and attendee engagement, plus 10 minutes for questions, application and closing.
Sessions must include interactive or engaging teaching methods appropriate to the topic and room setup. - Sessions may be eligible for continuing education credit and must meet applicable educational and disclosure requirements.
- Standard room setup includes theater-style seating, a head table, projector, screen, laptop and microphone. Wi-Fi is not guaranteed.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND IMPORTANT NOTES |
- All proposals must be submitted electronically by October 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Incomplete proposals will not be reviewed.
- Panel proposals may include no more than three total presenters. Complete information for every presenter must be submitted with the proposal.
- Sessions must be educational and noncommercial. Sales pitches, pricing, solicitation and lead-generation activities are prohibited.
- CAHSAH does not provide honoraria, travel reimbursement or lodging.
- Each presenter receives complimentary registration for the day of presentation or a 50% discount on full conference registration, limited to three presenters per session.
- CAHSAH may edit titles, descriptions, learning objectives and session placement to support program quality and conference goals.
- Proposal review will occur in November and December 2026. Acceptance and decline notices are expected by late December 2026. Please keep the conference dates available until notified.
