A Message from CAHSAH’s New President & CEO, Soua Vang

As I step into the role of President & Chief Executive Officer of the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH), I do so with deep respect for the history of this organization and genuine excitement for what we can build together.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand the difference that home health, hospice, and home care aide providers make in the lives of patients and families. You carry out incredibly important – and often invisible – work, supporting people where they feel safest: at home.

CAHSAH has long been a trusted voice for our field. My commitment is to strengthen that voice by focusing on three key priorities:

• Elevating our advocacy at the Capitol and with key state partners
• Expanding workforce, leadership, and education opportunities
• Ensuring every member feels informed, supported, and heard

In the coming months, I will be launching a CAHSAH Listening Tour across California – beginning in Northern California and then moving to Southern California. These conversations are where I plan to begin: by listening to you.

• Where do you need CAHSAH to show up more strongly?
• What would make your membership with us truly indispensable?
