    1. What prompted you to enter the field of home care/home health or hospice?

My journey in healthcare began as a hospice aide and caregiver, where I witnessed firsthand the power of compassion and dignity in care. Those early experiences opened my heart to the importance of being present for individuals and families during life’s most delicate moments. Over time, I saw a need for a hospice agency that not only provided excellent clinical care but also honored each person’s story, culture, and traditions. Working at Advantage Hospice Providers was my way of ensuring that every patient has access to peace, dignity, and personalized support at the end of life.

    1. What other positions/jobs have you held in the past?

I have worked in hospice and senior care for over 15 years. My career began as a caregiver, then expanded into Medicare insurance and healthcare administration. These roles gave me a unique perspective on both the emotional, logistics of healthcare? and financial challenges families face when navigating care for their loved ones.

    1. What motivates you each day?

I am motivated by the families we serve and the opportunity to walk alongside them in one of the most sacred journeys of life. Knowing that our work can bring comfort, peace, and support during such a vulnerable time keeps me grounded and inspired each day.

    1. What is one goal, either professional or personal, that you are working toward achieving or one accomplishment of which you are very proud?

I am proud of establishing Advantage Hospice Providers as a trusted, compassionate resource for families in the Inland Empire. One of my ongoing goals is to expand our community outreach programs, such as our monthly Paint & Sip for Alzheimer’s Awareness, to further support families and raise awareness about dementia and end-of-life care.

    1. What’s your favorite hobby or pastime?

My favorite pastimes are spending time with my friends and family, attending local church and senior events in my community, and traveling around the world. These activities keep me connected, inspired, and refreshed for the work I do.

    1. What do you hope to gain from your membership in CAHSAH?

Through CAHSAH, I hope to connect with other leaders in hospice, home health, and home care, learning from their experiences and sharing best practices. I also value the opportunity to strengthen our advocacy efforts so that more families can access the compassionate, dignified care they deserve.
