2026 is our 60th anniversary and things are booming at CAHSAH. The changes started with our new President, she has hired new staff members, and things just keep getting better.
To see all of the changes, check out the new CAHSAH website. The website has been updated and is easier to navigate. For members, items are more clearly defined. For those who need continuing education credits, the website clearly keeps track of the continuing education courses a member has attended. The website also has a Resources & Services section making it easier to locate and navigate areas members want to quickly access but don't know where find (i.e., purchase of bookstore items, job postings, participation on a listserv, member product discounts, etc). The website also makes it easy to view upcoming events held by CAHSAH and it is also a great way to view Policy and Advocacy items affecting a member’s agency and programs.
In addition to the website changes, CAHSAH staff have been working hard on scheduling educational events for both members and non-members – although CAHSAH members do get a significant discount on events. The PDGM workshop occurred at the end of February and there is a two-day OASIS training in both northern and southern California in April. Lunch and learn events have been scheduled on various topics. I addition there are important webinars coming:

And two great in-person training events that can’t be missed:
- Hospice Manager Certificate Program - Las Vegas

I would also like to encourage agencies to attend the 2026 CAHSAH Annual Lobby Day on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (PDT) at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento.
But the big event is our annual conference in June. The conference has something for everyone and will be a big 60th birthday event for CAHSAH and all of our members. Part of the conference will include the PAC event – details will be forthcoming.
The bottom line is, CAHSAH membership has so many benefits. I hope agencies will make the most out of these benefits and become a CAHSAH member in 2026 and celebrate our birthday!
