Volunteers play an important role in helping sessions run smoothly, supporting attendees, and creating a welcoming conference environment. Whether you can help for a few hours or throughout the conference, we would love to have you join the team.
Volunteer assignments and schedules will be finalized shortly after the deadline.
All volunteers will receive a complimentary CAHSAH volunteer t-shirt and may select their preferred size during sign-up.
Session scanners, registration desk support, and CAHSAH booth support during expo hours.

Your support helps CAHSAH create a smooth, welcoming, and engaging conference experience for attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and guests.
Volunteer Opportunities
Select the role that best fits your interests, schedule, and comfort level.
Session Scanner Volunteers
Support one of our breakout session rooms during conference education sessions.
Responsibilities include:- Scanning attendees into sessions
- Greeting speakers and helping them get settled
- Monitoring the room during the session
- Alerting CAHSAH staff if assistance is needed
- Ensuring sessions begin smoothly and attendees are welcomed
- Additional chairs
- Speaker delays or no-shows
- AV or microphone issues
- Temperature or room concerns
Please note: Speakers will introduce themselves. Five concurrent breakout sessions will run at the same time.
CAHSAH Booth Volunteers
Help attendees customize their conference tote bags during expo hours.
Responsibilities include:- Assisting attendees with selecting up to three tote bag patches
- Helping organize patch selections and attendee flow
- Maintaining a fun and engaging booth experience
- Supporting staff with booth needs during expo hours
Registration Desk Volunteers
Help welcome attendees as they arrive at the conference.
Responsibilities include:- Checking attendees into the conference
- Distributing name badges and tote bags
- Assisting attendees with registration questions
- Helping maintain organized registration lines
Volunteer Sign-Up Deadline
The deadline to sign up for a volunteer shift is May 29, 2026. Volunteer assignments and schedules will be finalized shortly thereafter.
