Join Angelo Spinola and Adrienne Frazior for a webinar on Fraud and Abuse, Enforcement and Compliance as well as the Dos and Don’ts of Referral Relationships.
Angelo Spinola and Adrienne Frazior of Polsinelli will be presenting a webinar on best practices for licensing and running a home-based care agency. In this presentation, they will cover how best to draft and implement a client services agreement and states where direct hire fee provisions are prohibited. They will also delve into proper licensing procedures, state specific client bill of rights, and requirements for agencies and how best to implement a policy and procedure manual for your agency.

FACULTY
With two decades of legal experience, Angelo Spinola’s practice focuses on employment litigation with a special interest in the home health, home care and hospice industry. Bringing a wide breadth of knowledge across the health care spectrum, he works with an array of home-based care clients, including Fortune 500 organizations and franchisors, small-owned businesses and franchisees across multiple industries. Additionally, Angelo works closely with private equity firms and investment groups with respect to labor and employment issues that may arise during acquisitions and activities in these sectors.
Angelo partners with attorneys in Polsinelli’s Health Care, Corporate and Transactional and Franchise practices to build coalitions that bring a deep bench of experience and industry knowledge to his clients in the home health, home care and hospice industry.
Leveraging technology to better serve clients, Angelo utilizes innovative legal technology platforms designed specifically for franchise systems and home health, home care and hospice clients. The platform serves as a source for industry information and substantive legal resources where employers have direct access to the tools, documents and knowledge needed to reduce their legal spend as their business needs grow throughout the corporate lifecycle and franchise process. Angelo also utilizes client portals to share confidential, proprietary client documents to allow clients and Angelo to seamlessly manage matters or case-specific documents.

Adrienne Frazior is an experienced trial lawyer with specific experience in health care fraud and government investigations. She delivers practical legal advice in the complicated and constantly evolving health care industry while providing strategic legal, compliance and operational guidance and support to a wide range of health care clients. Before formulating a legal strategy, she works with clients to consider all aspects of an existing or potential dispute, including their legal and business goals. Clients rely on her to help resolve important disputes, whether through trial or other dispute resolution methods.
She advises clients on a variety of areas including:
- False Claims Act
- OIG/DOJ investigations
- Health care fraud
- Internal investigations
- Anti-kickback statute
- Medicare and Medicaid compliance
- Department of Labor
Adrienne served as an Assistant Chief with the Department of Justice Fraud Section from 2018 to 2022 and as an Assistant United States Attorney with the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas from 2014 to 2018. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting criminal offenses for the State of Texas.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are subject to 20% handling fee. There will be NO REFUNDS issued for cancellations received within 10 business days prior to program. Cancellations must be in writing. Refunds will not be made for no-shows. However, substitutions will be allowed. Should CAHSAH® cancel the program, a full registration fee refund will be issued.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #CEP17394) for one (1) contact hour of continuing education. Continuing Education report will be issued to attendees once attendance has been confirmed.
