PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Current CMS and CDPH regulations guide quality care and compliance. Are you ready for your next survey? Spend the day immersed in preparedness and regulations, engaging in interactive action planning, sharing QA tools to identify and demonstrate improvement in common survey deficiencies. We will explore how Care Coordination spans from referral to claims submission, and how OASIS impacts your Comprehensive Assessment, individualized goal setting, and discharge function scores.

Come prepared! Review your last survey and correction plan, your top three QAPI PIPs, your STAR rating, and your PEPPER report. You will ideas to revise your data collection/audit tools, exchange ideas with peers, and depart with a prioritized, agency-specific action plan.

Outcomes:

  • Leverage historical survey and CMS findings to demonstrate current quality care and complicance

  • Recognize the necessity of continous improvement processes, emphazing that timelines is critical

    Develop actionable strategies to overcome the top three most common survey findings: care coordination, comprehensive assessments, and individualized care plans. 

  • Understand the critical need for a comprehensive compliance plan.

Sharon Fredrichs has served the home health community for more than 40 years, with experience in administration, quality assurance, compliance, utilization, and program development.


CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are subject to 30% handling fee. There will be NO REFUNDS issued for cancellations received within 10 business days prior to program. Cancelations must be in writing. Refunds will not be made for no-shows. However, substitutions will be allowed. Should CAHSAH® cancel the program, a full registration fee refund will be issued.


CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #CEP17394) for seven (7) contact hours of continuing education. Continuing Education report will be issued to attendees once attendance has been confirmed.
