SESSION OVERVIEW

The one consistent feature of Home Health and Medicare is that it is ALWAYS changing! This year is no exception to that rule!

This session will include the Final Rule for 2026, other regulatory and quality updates, as well as providing you with the "real world" applications in how to ensure we move forward with a solid plan and the tools to succeed.

• The Home health final rule for 2026-- from payment changes to quality proposals
• How to survive an audit from NGS, RAC, SMRC and more!
• Trends in Home Health survey citations and how to avoid them!
• The HHVBP updates and first annual report- "how did we get that percentage?"
• The NEW shift to GG's in the HHVBP Discharge Function Measure
• The NEW use of observation stays in the Potentially Preventable Hospitalization- featured in 2025 HHVBP, and the impact of patients returning to the hospital AFTER your discharge for 31 days!

Annette Lee RN, MS, HCS-D, COS-C has been in the home health arena for over 30 years. She built Provider Insights to give home health and hospice providers peace of mind by ensuring she empowered them with "real life application" of the regulations for payment and survey. She’s had decades of experience at CMS and provided many years of consultancy services—including contracting as a Medicare Education Coordinator for home health and hospice with the MAC.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are subject to 20% handling fee. There will be NO REFUNDS issued for cancellations received within 10 business days prior to program. Cancellations must be in writing. Refunds will not be made for no-shows. However, substitutions will be allowed. Should CAHSAH® cancel the program, a full registration fee refund will be issued.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #CEP17394) for two (2) contact hours of continuing education. Continuing Education report will be issued to attendees once attendance has been confirmed.
