For Randy, caring for people was simply meant to be. He was raised by parents who welcomed and cared for both his grandparents and great aunt in their family home throughout most of his first 15 years of life. Randy watched the compassion, love, and deep care his mother provided for those family members as they aged, and he recognized the sacrifices his father made to lovingly open his home and support what he believed was right, “Take care of those who mean the most to you.” Randy never forgot those words, and the impression his parents gave him has guided his professional and personal life ever since.
With more than 46 years learning and leading in healthcare, he has held positions as COO and co-investor of U.S. Healthworks, the Nation’s largest Physician Practice Management Company sold to B of A Ventures in 2005, COO of National Healing Corporation, Senior Vice President of Operations – Silverado Hospice and Home, and today serves as Chairman of the Board for Meals on Wheels Orange County, where he also served for 2008-2010 as CEO to create a transformative period in the organization’s history.
He has been married to his wife of 30 years, Kari, and they have three wonderful adult children, Christopher and his wife Catherine, Mark and his wife Ami, and Amanda and her husband Luke. Their first Grandson joined the family in 2025!
